How does your Paypal Layby work?

When you agree to a layby over the value of $100, your first installment is due at the Paypal checkout. You are agreeing to 10 weekly or daily payments as subscription installments.
There are no setup fees.

If you do not have an account with Paypal its quite easy to set one up. Follow the steps at checkout. Once the full amount of the artwork is paid off, I will post the artwork to your address specified on your account.

If you default on a payment you can pay twice to cover the lapse. Paypal will attempt the transfer again in 3 days.

For more information about laybys see Paypals “Terms and conditions for Layby subscriptions” here: Paypal subscriptions faq

Missed a payment?

If a scheduled payment fails, PayPal will reattempt the payment before the subscription is cancelled.

Scheduled payments may fail due to several reasons, including insufficient funds. Payments will be reattempted 3 days after the failure date. After a second failure, they will try once more 5 days later. A third failure will lead to an automatic cancellation of the subscription.

NOTE: Payments made with bank accounts are automatically reattempted once, 3 days after we notify the user that the payment failed.

Reattempts will not occur if another subscription payment is scheduled within 14 days of the failed payment, so payments do not overlap.

Why did I get diverted here from the checkout?

Most likely cause is that the item is sold out or booked out.
